Rapture Of The Deep Is The 18th Studio Album By Deep Purple. It Was Recorded And Released In 2005. A Tour Edition Followed Some Months Later With A Bonus CD Containing Live Tracks And Session Left-Outs. The Band Embarked On A Lenghty Multiple-Leg Tour During Which They Played Many Of The Album's Tracks And Even The Left-Outs Such As "Things I Never Said" And "The Well-Dressed Guitar". These Two Tracks Along With The Title Track Are Still In The Band's Setlist As Of 2010. The Title Track Became A Kind Of A Live Favourite Among Fans. The Album Was Generally Praised By Fans And Reviewers Reaching Top40 In Some European Countries E.G. #10 In Germany And #11 In Finland. It Was The Second Album Recorded By Mark VIII That Features Ian Gillan
