Inna Real Name Elena Alexandra Apostoleanu Was Born On 16 October 1986 In Mangalia Romania. Blessed With Singing Talent She Had Been Singing From A Very Early Age. Apostoleanu Spent Her Childhood In The Romanian Village Neptun. After Graduating From High School She Started Studying At Constanta University.
At October 12 2008 Apostoleanu's First Single Hot Was Released. This Dance Song Immediately Gained A #1 Chart Spot In Eight Different Countries Only To Continue This Success In 2009 In Rest Of The World. Hot Is The Debut Studio Album Of Romanian Recording Artist Inna. It Was Released In Poland On August 4 2009 And In Russia On September 22 2009 By Her Romanian Label Roton Records. The Album Entered The Polish Albums Chart In August 2009 And The Czech Albums Charts In February 2010 Debuting And Peaking At Number Twenty-Eight And Number Seven Respectively. The Standard Edition Content Eleven Tracks While The Romanian Edition Contains Fourteen Tracks One Of Them Being The New Recorded Song "10 Minutes". The Track Also Was Part Of The Album Re-Release In Certain Countries In Spring 2010. After The Massive Debut Track "Hot" And The Follow Up Singles "Love" "Amazing" And The Bob Taylor Song "Déjà Vu" In Which Inna Appears As A Featured Artist "10 Minutes" Was Released As The Fifth Single Taken From The Album. In France And The United Kingdom The Track "Sun Is Up" Was Released As A Sixth Single From "Hot" While In Other Countries It Was The Lead Single From Inna's Second Album "I Am The Club Rocker!". The Album Went On To Sell 120 000 Copies In France 80 000 Copies In The Netherlands 50 000 Copies In Mexico 35 000 Copies In Belgium 30 000 Copies In Poland 20 000 Copies In Romania 15 000 Copies In Hungary And Approximately 20 000 Copies In The United Kingdom. In The United States And Canada It Has Sold Less Than 10 000 Copies As Of September 2011. Overall The Album Has Sold Over 500 000 Units Worldwide. "Hot" Was First Released In Poland Via Roton Records On August 4 2009 Followed By The Russian Release On September 22 2009. In Czech Republic Universal Music Released A 17-Track Edition Of "Hot" On February 22 2010 Which Featured A New Song Titled "10 Minutes" And Special Remixes Of The Hit Singles "Hot" "Love" And "10 Minutes". The Romanian Release Date Was Pushed Off From August 2009 To November 2009 And Then To Spring 2010. Inna And Her Producers Play & Win Stated That They Delayed The Romanian Launching Because They Want It To Be Perfect And They Had To Add New Songs In Order To Create The Greatest Album Of The Year. It Finally Was Released In March 2010 And Included Both The Radio Edit And The Club Remix Of "10 Minutes" As Well As The U.S. Version Of "Hot" As New Tracks. The Album Later Was Released In The Netherlands Belgium France Spain And Germany Because Of The Overwhelming Success Of "Hot" And "Amazing" Which Both Entered Several European Charts. The Spanish Version Of The Album Includes The Bonus Track "Un Momento" A Collaboration With Spanish Remixer Producer And DJ Juan Magan. Before Christmas 2010 A CD DVD Collectors Edition Of The Album Entitled "Very Hot" Was Released In France. It Features Remixes Of "Hot" And "Love" As Well As Inna's Christmas Track "I Need You For Christmas" Which Was Written And Produced By Play & Win And Released By Roton Records In Romania At Christmas 2009. The Edition Also Includes A DVD With All Of Inna's Music Videos. In 2011 The Album Was Re-Released Again And Included "I Need You For Christmas" And The New Song "Sun Is Up".
On June 5 2011 "Hot" Was Released In United Kingdom Featuring "Sun Is Up" "Un Momento" And Remixes Of "Hot" "Amazing" "Déjà Vu" And "10 Minutes". The Romanian Cover Artwork Was Decided By Inna's Fans Who Had The Chance To Vote For Their Favourite Artwork Out Of Five Pictures. Inna’s Labels Released Every New Edition Of "Hot" With Different Cover Artwork. Due To Strong Sales "Hot" Entered The Polish Albums Chart On August 31 2009 Debuting And Peaking At Number Twenty-Eight. It Spent Two Weeks On The Chart. "Hot" Was A Smash On The Czech Albums Chart As It Debuted And Peaked At Number Seven In February 2010 And Spent A Total Of Seventeen Non-Consecutive Weeks On The Chart. In The Netherlands The Album Debuted On The Albums Chart At Number Sixty-Nine On May 1 2010 And Finally Peaked At Number Sixty-Eight On July 24 2010. "Hot" Spent Twelve Non-Consecutive Weeks On The Chart. After The Huge Success On The France Top 100 Singles Chart With The Singles "Hot" And "Amazing" The Album Entered The Top 200 Of The French Albums Chart On July 19 2010 Debuting And Peaking At Number Nine. In March "Hot" Was Certified Platinum For Sales Of Over 100 000 Units. In Romania The Album Debuted At Number-Seven In The Week-Ending May 28 2010 And Having Sold 3 018 Copies Within Its First Days. The Following Weeks It Stayed In The Top Ten And Peaked At Number Four In June. At The End Of The Year It Was The Sixth Biggest-Selling Album In Romania. As Of October 2012 The Album Has Sold 13 543 Registered Units Thus Being Certified Gold By The Uniunea Producatorilor De Fonograme Din Romania. On The Mexican Albums Chart The Album Debuted At Number Fifty-Eight On March 15 2011. After Defending This Position On The Next Week "Hot" Climbed Four Places To Number 44 On March 29 2011 Reaching Its Peak Position. In The United Kingdom The Album Reached Number 8 On The Official UK Albums Chart On June 18 2011 While Simultaneously Debuting At The Top Of The UK Dance Albums Chart And At Number Nine On The UK Albums Download Chart.
