Mac DeMarco Born Vernor Winfield MacBriare Smith IV In Duncan BC On 30 April 1990 Is A Canadian Singer-Songwriter Multi-Instrumentalist And Producer. DeMarco Has Released Eight Full-Length Studio Albums His Debut Rock And Roll Night Club 2012 2 2012 Salad Days 2014 Another One 2015 This Old Dog 2017 Here Comes The Cowboy 2019 Five Easy Hot Dogs 2023 And One Wayne G 2023 . During High School DeMarco Was In Several Bands Including Indie Rock Band The Meat Cleavers Alternative R&B Group The Sound Of Love And Post-Punk Band Outdoor Miners. He Released A Self-Produced Album Heat Wave As A Part Of The Indie Rock Project Makeout Videotape In 2009. In Early 2012 He Released An LP Titled Rock And Roll Night Club. Then Later One Of His Most Successful Albums 2. In 2014 DeMarco Released Salad Days. On July 8 2015 DeMarco Released A 9-Track Instrumental Album Titled Some Other Ones. Later In 2015 Specifically In August DeMarco Released His Mini-LP Another One. In 2017 DeMarco Released This Old Dog. On March 5 2019 DeMarco Announced His Fourth Studio Album Here Comes The Cowboy And Shared The First Single Off The Album "Nobody". The Album Was Released On May 10 2019 On Mac's Record Label. Following The Debut Releases Of Rock And Roll Night Club And 2 In 2012 And The Extensive Touring For Both Releases In 2013 DeMarco Worked On Material For His Next Album At His Bedford-Stuyvesant Apartment In Brooklyn. Salad Days Garnered Acclaim From Critics And Debuted At Number 30 On The Billboard 200. The Album Spawned Two Singles Passing Out Pieces And Brother. To Promote The Album DeMarco Went On A Tour That Spanned Across North America South America And Europe. On The Sound Of Salad Days DeMarco Said "I Didn't Want To Freak Anybody Out With A Huge Sound Change. I Wanted To Transition Without Changing The Vibe Too Much. The Mood For Salad Days Is 'Fuck Man! The Track Chamber Of Reflection References A Freemasonry Concept Which DeMarco Subsequently Likened To His Home Studio "It's A Room People Go Into Before You're Initiated Into Freemasonry. It's Like A Meditation Room And They Lock You In There For A Period Of Time. The Purpose Is To Reflect On What You've Done In Your Life Already And Move On From It. I Think That's What I Did In Right Here. It Was Actually Therapeutic. I Feel A Little Enlightened A Little Less Heavy. It's Tight". Upon Its Release Salad Days Was Met With Critical Acclaim. At Metacritic Which Assigns A Weighted Mean Rating Out Of 100 To Reviews From Mainstream Critics The Album Received An Average Score Of 82 Out Of 100 Based On 27 Reviews Which Indicates "universal Acclaim".
