The Gate To The Mind's Eye Giant Records 1994 Is The Soundtrack To The Third Of The Mind's Eye Art Film Series. The Series Produced By Steven Churchill Of Odyssey Productions Originally Odyssey Visual Design & Miramar Productions Began In 1990. The Typical Entry In The Mind's Eye Series Is A Short Film Usually 50 To 60 Minutes Long Of A Series Of Music Video-Like Sequences Showcasing Computer Animation. The Cutting-Edge Computer Animations Were Generally Not Produced Specifically For The Mind's Eye Series But Rather Were Work Originally Created For Other Purposes Including Demo Reels Commercials Music Videos And Feature Films. These Sequences Were Assembled Into A Narrative Through Creative Editing. To Help Unify The Ground-Breaking Visuals Each Film Had An Original Electronic Music Soundtrack. The Electronic Score To The Gate To The Mind's Eye 1994 Is By Thomas Dolby. His Inventive Score Ranges From Moody Instrumentals To Dance To Jazz. Continuing The Trend Started In Jan Hammer's Score For The Previous Mind's Eye Film Beyond The Mind's Eye 1992 Five Of The Nine Tracks Include Vocals 1.
