This Fall POSTYR Features On The Latest Album By The American Group The House Jacks Called Pollen. POSTYR Have Rapidly Gained Respect Amongst Their Peers Having Been Invited To Perform With Leading International Artists Such As The Swedish Vocal Jazz Legends The Real Group Rajaton Pust DJ Static And Nabiha As Well As Being Nominated For And Winning Several Prestigious International Awards For Their Concerts And Recordings. Most Recently As Runner Up For Best Live Performance At The ACA Awards In The USA. Growing Up Singing Vocal Music Since Early Childhood The Members Of Postyr Met Through The Inspiring Musical Environment Around The World Famous Danish Choir Vocal Line And The Award- Winning Vocal Group Vox 11. Postyr Was Founded In 2009 Due To A Deep Desire To Write Music And Sing Together. Shortly After The Group Won 1st Prize At The Competition Of The SoleVoci A Cappella Festival In Italy. After Returning To Denmark They Appeared On Danish Television For The First Time. In The Fall Of 2010 Postyr Started The Preparations For The Recording Of Their Debut Album Writing New Songs And Exploring The Possibilities Of Their Ever Evolving Technical Setup. The Story Of The Final Song On The Debut Album "Walking" Somehow Summarizes The Aim Of The Very Album And The Musical Ambition Of Postyr. The Song Was Inspired By A Line Former Member Of The Group Andreas Bech Picked Up From His Grandmother On The Day Of His Grandfather’s Passing. Upon A Question About Whether She Had Had A Good Life She Replied That Her Life Had Been Full Of So Many Different Colours. They Hadn't All Been Pretty But At This Point In Her Life She Realised That She Wouldn't Have Missed A Single One Of Them. “The Voice Is Probably The Instrument In The World That Has The Most Different Sound Colours. In Most Vocal Music We Tend To Show Only The Pretty Ones But Real Life Is Different. If We Want Music To Resemble Who We Really Are We Must Allow Some Roughness And To Be Present In The Soundscape.
