The music scene of Chicago has produced many great bands. Amongst the greats and the locals sits the unique, punk rock band, Driving Backwards. Their mainstream music houses great energy, original, catchy vocals, with stunning riffs that will make anyone get up and jump along. The band started a little over a year ago in Morris, IL. After five months of jamming and goofing around with lyrics, Driving Backwards resulted. Though many changes since then, they are ready as ever.

Their mainstream music houses great energy, original, catchy vocals, with stunning riffs that will make anyone get up and jump along. The band started a little over a year ago in Morris, IL. After five months of jamming and goofing around with lyrics, Driving Backwards resulted. Though many changes since then, they are ready as ever. Highlights of the past year consist of playing with the national act The Narritive (currently ranked 6th in PureVolumes top unsigned bands) and playing at the Congress Theater in Chicago where many famous acts have performed. The four piece is currently working on a full length album and touring Chicagoland in the meantime. When asked how they would describe themselves, they responded,"We always come to play. We love our fans and guarantee they will not be disappointed!"
