There are at least two artists by the alias of Foreign Policy: 1. Electronic music project of Berlin based Thomas Ricard, co-founder of Area Z Records. His sound can be described as a mix of influences oscillating between club oriented EBM-Techno and Industrial music, combined with a taste for dark cinematic atmospheres and soundscapes. 2. 2. Born in the aftermath of tragedy when Poison Path's (ex-Afterlife) previous group was cut short in the wake of the death of JAH (James Allen Hogge), his close friend and previous group member of the short lived but intense hip hop chemistry of the relentless duo that was Ill-Fated. After some time mourning the loss of his hip hop comrade and devoted friendship, Poison Path had set it in stone and took Masta Shake to begin the next chapter after Shake had heard and contacted Poison Path about some of the tunes on VK.com the two began to devise Foreign Policy... A force to be reckoned with. Poison Path gave some insight on the significance of Masta Shake stating, "I have never been so amazed at not only talent but the originality and diversity that Shake can bring out in the music, and Im sorry but, I think he's better than all ya'll motherf*ckin' producers, and I stand behind my man 100%. Jimmy would have felt the same if he was still here" going on to say " I dont need another beat from anyone ever again unless its my man shake.." An LP is expected to be released in the coming year (2017).
