His moniker is taken from the anime "Last Exile" and was bestowed upon him by a friend. For years, Immelmann has enjoyed listening to music - particularly metal - and as such, it was inevitable that he would record his own style. Rather than descend into metal for the time being, he instead created the full-length album "Mire", in May of 2010. The low, rumbling, and distant sounds of the opus-like title track, which slowly builds into a cacophony of different sounds punctuated by creative use of feedback and sudden changes in volume and complexity, evidence the artist's previously-mentioned roots of listening to metal and, very likely, noise.
