They started in 2007, from some ex-members of Sámán. Other information: www.mamutweb.extra.hu. 3. In 2017 a group of Belgian musicians and a Spanish singer formed the rock band Mamut (styled MAMVT) in the city of Leuven. Colourful soundscapes combined with heavy in-your-face rock and a layer of catchy melodies, synths and clever songwriting. That is Leuven band MAMVT and their new record Ivory walls. MAMUT started in 2017 with guitar players Jonas Delabie and Julien Mortier. As a duo with roots in Kortrijk, they quickly recruited Dylan Dujardin on bass and Spanish singer Yuri Murillo Mange as lead vocalist and hard-hitting drummer Kevin Gui to complete the ensemble based on free-flowing creativity and a get-shit-done attitude. When Dylan left the band at the start of 2020, they quickly got Wouter Put as their new bass player. After a well-received first record, Crooked Salty Road, in October 2018, they are again laying it all out on the table on their new record Ivory walls (release: 15th of February 2020). Daring and without compromise, MAMVT is hungry to make an impact. 4. Then there is another band from Argentina which released the Contacto con el Diablo album in 1984, in a traditional metal vein. 5. There is the band Mamut hailing from Czech Republic that was active in the late 80's/early 90's. In a more heavy/power metal style, they recorded a demo called "The Waterloo" in 1989 and recorded a song for the "Death Metal Session" compilation album released by Direkt Records in 1990. They split up afterwards. 6. Mamut is a stoner/psychedelic rock three-piece band from Maipú, Chile. They have put out the following releases: 3, Ritual en Venus, and Mamut. 7. Mamut is a Jungle Metal band from Macedonia on a mission to unleash the beast within, featuring Daniel Dicoski on guitars and vocals, Filip Dicoski on bass and vocals, and Kliment Boev on drums. 8. Mamut is an alternative metal band founded in Rijeka, Croatia in 2017. The lineup consists of vocalist Ivo Jurčić, Ivan Šebalj on bass, Patrik Gašpar on guitar, and Krešo Linić on drums.
