Miguel Núñez Pozo (Terrasa, Barcelona, January 6, 1996), better known as Miki Núñez or simply as Miki, is a Spanish singer. He has released 4 albums with Universal Music Records, with his latest album he called "121" being released in summer 2023. It was announced in 2018 that all the contestants in the main show - excluding 3- of Operación Triunfo 2018 would be considered to represent Spain in the next Eurovision Song Contest. He was chosen to represent Spain in Eurovision 2019 with the theme "La Venda", written by Adrià Salas -voice and guitar in La Pegatina", a catalan music group- and produced by Roger Rodés. He was born in Terrasa, Barcelona on January 6, 1996. Growing up he struggled with eating disorders and is now a mental health activist for Eating Disorders. He studied Primary School Teaching in Universitat de Barcelona. His parents always supported his passion for music, including when he decided to go to guitar and piano classes. He has worked as a teacher, and apart from singing, he also has had an acting debut in the TV3 series "Jo Mai Mai" released in 2023. He has singled out as his favorite artists Dub Inc, The Cat Empire and Muse. He is a vocalist in the group Dalton Bang, who covers songs from the seventies.
