2007 - 2011 New Era Project, based out of Fayetteville, North Carolina, was formed on October 11, 2006. The music of New Era Project would gather a strong underground following, but even with the production value of Dustin's successful older brother Corey Lowery (Stereomud, Dark new Day, Eye Empire) New Era Project would disband before having a chance to make a commercial impact. The band would disband in early 2011 with Dustin Lowery now heading up alternative metal group 'Viasava'.
