Six Years Ago was formed when guitarist/vocalist Nick Nothing was at home one day watching horror movies all by his lonesome. He thought to himself: "Why can't I write songs about this?". He then recruited Joe Smith's wonderfully gruesome percussion skills and Andrew Fowler's heavy bass tones. Soon after, he was introduced to Scott Woodring of Darkhaiden fame and voila! Six Years Ago was born. We started recording our first album with Justin Jones of The Mahlors in August (gonna be released for free!) and we put out a free EP on Halloween to try and get the word out. Tell us what you think of our tunes, all criticism is very much appreciated. All in all, we just want to bring back the good ole' days and have fun doing it. Punk rock is dead and so are we!
