Samplecore is a genre focused on the use of samples, finding it's roots in instrumental hip-hop such as the works of DJ Shadow's first album Entroducing; which was the first album to be entirely made with samples. Samplecore music is often entirely constructed using samples from other music and is intended to try and use the samples as creatively as possible.
Samplecore does not hold any specific rythmic or melodic structure, but is often paired with genres such as breakcore, instumental hip-hop, and french-house.
