Utopian Virtual

Though James Ferraro's Far Side Virtual may only be considered proto-vaporwave by some, the album's early conceptual influence on the genre has come to spawn its own sub-genre by association and by now the album itself must be considered vaporwave. Utopian virtual music generally uses muzak to create the sense of a retrofuturistic utopia, though some works have a sinister faux-utopian undertone to them.
