Shortly afterward she found a more lucrative career starring in adult films including her breakthrough film Behind The Green Door, directed by The Mitchell Brothers. She attempted to enter the mainstream when she starred in David Cronenberg's horror film Rabid in 1977 and she recorded a disco single, "Benihana", which charted briefly the same year. She appeared in popular adult films, such as Insatiable and its sequel, until the late 80s when she switched to doing softcore films. She returned to hardcore for a short time in the late 90s, and continued to act in softcore and non-adult films until her death on April 12, 2009 of a cerebral hemorrhage and an aneurysm related to heart disease.
