A product of Midwestern American isolation, moderate alcoholism, and a great aversion to all things "out of doors", Metro I.D. has been producing remixes and original works since the late 90's when all he had was a simple sound editor and a dream. After a long hiatus, which included musical endeavors involving bands and live music, he has returned to the forefront of music that gets ignored by the mass majority of music listeners with shiny new software and a meager collection of music of which to steal instrument samples and vocal clips. His Last.fm library is a true testament to mediocrity, drowning in a sea of shit eaters. Starting at "Core Dump", you can see the progression from his angry youth to "Fuck Your Stereo", which was his first true attempt at quote/unquote/more quotes "dance music". From that moment on, the evolution of sound coming from each new album has begun to show tale-tell signs of "not sucking that bad". If history has told us anything, Metro I.D. will most likely follow similar artists and eventually fade into the grey matter of history and this Last.fm page will be his metaphorical tomb that teenagers in the future will break into and defile his place of resting with their underage drinking, premarital sex, and "rock and roll" music.
