To qualify for genre the bands & artists must have no less than 50% of members sporting mad beards (exceptions for solo artist where they must be all 100% bearded). Beardcore is also being referred to as an up & coming style of bouncy, hardcore, pop punk. The true origin of Beardcore comes from Sheffield band The Mirimar Disaster who were always known for all 5 members having unique beards associated with their music.
