Alessandro Massobrio, Turin 1974, is a musician/composer and field recordist. He plays guitar and analogue electronic tape instruments. His music focuses mainly on minimalism and slow transformation in sound, tone clusters and sound mass. More than melody, harmony or rythm, Massobrio’s music look at the timber of the sound and its shift in time and ambience. His ongoing live project include Flushing Device and Monotono.
