Apeirian Age is the solo project of Benjamin D. Jackson (b. 1984). He graduated with a B.A. in Music at the University of New Mexico in May, 2011. Benjamin was a visual artist for most of his life, and had no musical experiences until the age of 18. It was not until the age of 21 that he decided to explore music further in an academic setting. All music is currently composed using a Korg Triton Le keyboard alone. The music represents the essence of human experience; the ebb and flow of our psyche, and the ever-churning emotional lagoon that colors our external experiences. The music also serves as a reminder of the vast potential of reality, and embraces the co-creation we share with all other life-forms. The medium of music, like all things, is energy. With enough internal energy and intention, one can channel it in powerful ways. Thus, it is one of the composer's goals to find new forms of optimism to bring to a world full of suffering. Darkness, however, has a symbiotic relationship with light. One cannot exist without the other. The music attempts to homogenize these elements, creating emotions that can't easily be labeled.
