Eleven Miles Away is a music group from Gdansk, Poland spawned in the fall of 2007. The sound of the band is a connection between artistic and heavy musical genres, defined by dynamics of alternative rock and progressive metal. Their songs are filled with psychodelic motives, delayed, deep tones with straight-to-face, melodic rock denominators. Eleven Miles Away is a music group from Gdansk, Poland spawned in the fall of 2007. The sound of the band is a connection between artistic and heavy musical genres, defined by dynamics of alternative rock and progressive metal. Their songs are filled with psychodelic motives, delayed, deep tones with straight-to-face, melodic rock denominators. Band's core consisting of Felo, Pauder and Rudy formed in early december of 2007. After search of proper musicians, six months later, Jacob (ex-"Kręgi") joined Eleven Miles Away as the groups bassist. The recruitment finally ended, when Davy (ex-"Psychollywood") filled vocalist's position in late 2009. Eleven Miles Away finished recording their demo in late September, and now is available to download for free from last.fm. Currently, band is rehearsing to their debut at "Rock'n'Roll Music Festival" and full-dimensional gig on 30th November in Papryka. What's more, band is preparing to launch a well-prepared and precise series of live concerts. The gigs are planned to be entertaining, audio-visual events on a high measure.
