A writer by who secretly wishes she could write epic Broadway musicals and dance-pop anthems instead of contrived short stories and unsellable screenplays, KittKat brings classically-trained technique and rampant trendyness together in an epic explosion of electroacoustic ethereality. A piano player since the age of five, KittKat manipulates traditional chord voicings and progressions by placing a modern sound and funky drum beats on top of stereotypically popular song structure. Self taught on a variety of other instruments, the final product is exactly what a Los Angeles 20-something recording songs on her laptop would sound like---lo-fi awesomness.
