Characterised by 3 part vocal harmonies and a West Coast pop sound their debut album Broken Down, Whiskey Sound was picked up by Spanish indie Rock Indiana and a release and tour followed. Returning to Britain drummer Bill Darlington left to be replaced by Jimmy James and the band began work on their second album Haunting The Townsfolk. This was released on Townsfolk in the UK and revealed a harder sound, betraying their love of 90's alt-rockers such as Dinosaur Jr, Swervedriver and Pavement. Rumiko Jr are currently working on a new EP. Rumiko Jr are: Dean Adams - Guitar and vocals, Marcus Sullivan - Guitar, Michael X - Keyboards and vocals, Rufus Stone - bass and vocals, Jimmy James - drums.
