V.I.O. or Victory is Ours is an alias for Adam Gonzales of The Obliterates and is an experimental alt-industrial project that hails from the small Texas town of BeEville. V.I.O. or Victory is Ours is an alias for Adam Gonzales of The Obliterates and is an experimental alt-industrial project that hails from the small Texas town of BeEville. The project was formed in 2001 when his previous bands were taking a break. That same break also spawned the creation of the horror-shock rock group THE BLOODIES. V.I.O.'s 1st album "are you ok....citizen?" was released under "Distor-ted Records". The 2nd full length was entitled "the Evershrinking window of Oppurtunity" and was released under FTM RECORDS. A collection of rarities and acoustic versions was self released on cassette only and is entitled "Crashing and Crumbling", currently V.I.O. is working on a new album. Victory Is Ours has also released several splits. One with J.A.B/V.I.O. on Dis-Torted Records and two with CS/VIO on FTM Records. A new CS/VIO album is currently underway.
