L’Avventura Is A San Francisco-Based Rock Band. Formed In 2005 The Group Consists Of Jeff Davis Vocals Guitar Fergus Griffin Guitar Vocals Aldo Silver Bass Guitar Vocals Stevie Utstein Cello Keyboards Vocals Art McConnell Drums Shaina Evoniuk Violin Vocals And Helen Aki Guitar Vocals . The Band Places A Heavy Emphasis On Classic Songwriting And Draws Influences From A Wide Variety Of Artists Including Roxy Music T-Rex ELO The Clash Bob Dylan Belle And Sebastien Elvis Costello And The Beach Boys To Name A Few. Before Forming L’Avventura Davis Griffin And Silver Played In San Francisco Band Niagara From 1999 Until 2003. Niagara Released Two LPs Niagara 01 And Niagara 02. In 2004 Davis Griffin And Silver Formed A New 7-Piece Band L’Avventura. That Summer Davis And Griffin Set Up Camp In A Friend’s Mountain Cabin In Woodside California And Composed The Songs That Would Become L'Avventura's Debut “Your Star Was Shining”.
