Artist Biography For Little Jc

Born In 1966 Litle JC Started Messing Around With Harmonicas At An Early Age Trying To Follow In His Father's Footsteps Who Was A Harmonica Player Himself. Around Age 13 Did He Start Playing Seriously After He Had The Shock Of His Life Listening To A Recording By The Great Sonny Boy Williamson II. In 1985 He Put Together His First Band. In 1989 Jc Met Louisiana Red And The Legendary Bluesman Gave Him A Try-Out. Jc Remembers After Two Or Three Songs At The Sound Check Louisiana Red Came To Me And Said "OK Little Boy! You´re Gonna Play With Me Tonight … " Asking Red About Jc´s Playing He Says " I Love The Way He Blows His Harp It Comes From Deep Inside". Red Took Him Under His Wing And From That Day On Hired Him For Lots Of His Concerts In Europe . "And He Taught Me Well Beside His Guitar Red Is Also A Great Harp Player Who Learned From The Harmonica Virtuosos Of The Chicago Golden Years Themselves People Like Little Walter Big Walter Horton Carey Bell. He Would Show Me A Lot Of Their Tricks!" Meanwhile Little Jc Kept His Band Together And He Started Playing More And More All Over Europe Even As Faraway As Russia. He´s Sat In With Some Of The Greatest Musicians In Chicago And Jammed With Blues Artists In The Windy's City Blues Clubs. He Put Out His First CD In 1994 " Prisoner Of The Blues " Followed In 1996 With A Second CD "before They Drive Me Crazy " Both CD´s Well Received By The Blues Milieu. He Played Great Festivals Such " Piazza Blues Festival / Lucerner Blues Sessions / Cognac Blues Passions / Banana Peel / Crossroads / Cricketer´s / Spirit 66… He Helped Out Young Local Musicians Such As Bonny B. Allowing Them On Stage And Giving Them Lessons.He Also Shared The Stage With Great People Such As Eddie C. Campbell Johnny Johnson Zora Young Bill Thomas Carey Bell RL Burside. He Played Drums With Raoul Ficel With Who He Recorded Two CDs Second Guitar With Chicago Harp Player Matthew Skoller Bass Guitar For Rock Bottom Toured With His Band Backing Chicago Artist Tommy Mc Cracken Big Time Sarah. From 2000 To 2006 Started Over Playing The Way He Would Do 20 Years Before One Man Band In The Doctor Ross Style Plus A Few Gigs With Louisiana Red. Swiss Guest Star At Blue Balls Lucerne Broadcast Live Solo On Suisse Radio Played At The Geneva Blues Summit And Also Gigs With A Backing Band. December 2006 He Recorded Live His 3rd CD "Blues Straight From The Heart" Backed Up By Great Musicians.
