Mela Tenenbaum - Concertmaster Of The Philharmonia Virtuosi Since 1993 She Appears Regularly As Soloist With The Orchestra And In Recital. During The Summer Months She Is A Participant In The Seattle Chamber Music Festival. Before Emigrating In 1990 From The Ukraine Ms. Tenenbaum Performed As Resident Soloist With The Kiev Chamber Orchestra And The Kiev State Philharmonic And Was Concertmaster Of The Perpetuum Mobile. Equally At Home With The Violin Viola And The Rarely Encountered Viola D'amore Ms. Tenenbaum Presented Numerous Concertos And Other Works Dedicated To Russian And Ukrainian Composers. Her First Major Opportunity In The United States Was An Invitation To Appear As A Soloist In An All-Vivaldi Concert With Philharmonia Virtuosi. The Recording Of That Concert On ESS.A.Y. Was Acclaimed By Major Publications. She Has Subsequently Undertaken A Series Of Additional Recordings For ESS.A.Y.. This Is Her Fifteenth Year With Master Singers. - Spring 2007 read less
