Artist Biography For Seven Percent Solution

Seven Percent Solution Is A Psychedelic Space-Rock Band From Texas One Of Several Bands Who Were Apart Of The Big Contemporary Space-Rock Movement That Had A Peak At The End Of The 20th Century. Seven Percent Solution Was Formed In Austin Texas In 1992 By Singer Guitarist Reese Beeman. Releasing The Self Titled Ep Cassette The Same Year. Shortly The Next Year Guitarist James Adkisson Joined Reese Releasing The Sugar Ep. Much Of What Was Written On These First Couple Of Ep's Would Soon Contribute To The Final Albums Released By Seven Percent Solution. Three Years After The Sugar Ep Seven Percent Solution Released Their First Full Length All About The Satellites And Spaceships On X-Ray Records With Moderate Success To Critics And Fans. Within The Wake Of Their Debut Release Julian Capps Joined The Band On Vocals/guitar/bass Guitar And In November Of 1998 Seven Percent Solution Debuted Live. The Three Became The The Five When Mike Sherrill Joined On Bass And James Harwood On Drums For The Start Of The Live Tour. 1999 Saw Seven Percent Solution Released Their Anticipated Second Album Gabriel's Waltz On The Same Label. This Would Also Mark The Start Of Seven Percents Heavy Touring Across The United States For The Next Two Years Until Their Demise In 2002. Just 10 Years Just As You Were Getting Started -Ed Presently Seven Percent Lives On With Some Of Their Respected Members Being Apart Of A Five And Dime Ship And Lacuna Incorporated. Discography
