There Are FOUR Bands Named The Royal We With Self-Titled Albums. 1. Dylan Kennedy Formed A Solo Music Project Called The Royal We Releasing A Debut EP Called A New Sunrise In 2004 Featuring Guest Musicians From Scumbucket And Blackmail. In 2005 Dylan Released A Full Length Album Titled The Royal We With Fixed Band Members Benny Rubertus Thomas Heinz Miguel Ortiz-Caturani And Philipp Anton And Featured Guest Musicians From Blackmail And Urlaub In Polen. The Royal We Supported Elbow On The German Leg Of Their Leaders Of The Free World Tour. Unfortunately In 2006 A Scottish Band Using The Same Name Caused Chaos In The German Alternative Music Scene By Releasing A Self-Titled Debut Album Which Led To The Confusion Of Many Fans Radio Stations And Music Journalists. 2. The Royal We Were A Group From Glasgow UK Who Cleverly Mixed Old School Swing With Modern Indie. The Group Performed Their Last Gig On The 5th November 2007 The Same Day On Which They Released Their First Album. Three Members Then Formed The Sexy Kids Released A 7" And Then Formed Veronica Falls 3. The Royal We Were A Group From Asheville NC That Included Guitarist Chris Tanfield. Tanfield Now Plays Guitar And Theremin And Provides Vocals For Asheville Band Silver Machine. 4. Jeff Bridges Has Mentioned That This Will Be The Name Of His New Band.
