Is Keyboard And Guitar Player Composer And Singer THE IRANIAN MUSIC SCENE As A Young Keyboard Player Vahid Immediately Captured The Attention Of The Established Music Scene With His Special Sound And His Always Convincing Approach To His Instrument. Soon He Was A Part Of The Generation Which Formed The Iranian Music Scene In The 70s. During Period Western Music Had Found Its Way To The Iranian Music Culture And Musicians Had The Opportunity To Find New Sources Of Inspiration. At The Same Time Musicians Were Highly Respected Which Gave Rise To Even Greater Progress And Experiments In Sound And Genre. Vahid Was Inspired By Jazz Blues And Rock Which At That Time Was Represented By Groups Like Pink Floyd Genesis Emerson Lake And Palmer Jethro Tull Deep Purple And Tangerine Dream
Vahid Continued His Music Education At Honarhaye Ziba The Iranian Music Academy While Working As A Professional Musician. After The Revolution The Academy Was Closed And The Clubs Were Either Closed Or Burned Down. People Were Afraid And Music Was Banned.
Vahid Left Iran In 1985 Forced By The Circumstances Which Made It Impossible For Him To Work With What He Loved Most Namely Music.
He Worked As A Musician In Turkey Where He Played With A Turkish Group And Also As A Pianist In Clubs.
After A While He Moved To Denmark. There He Continued His Music Education And Became A Producer Composer Sound/recording Engineer . Also In Denmark He Worked As A Pianist In Clubs. After A While He Started Working With The Television Network TV In Odense And Composed Various Music Pieces For TV Programs. His First Album Was “Synthesizer Music For The Beating Hearts” An Instrumental Piece. In His Second Album “Bar Bale Muj” He Included Persian Lyrics. In This Album Vahid Presented His Own Unique Sound And Style Which Is Different From The Then Established Iranian Pop Music. The Difference Showed Itself In The Combination Of Instrument Use And Melody Style. Vahid Finally Established His Own Sound Studio And Music Production In Copenhagen And From There His Cooperation With Bahar Started. The Corporation Resulted In The Release Of The “Toloo” Album Which Is An Introspective And Deeply Personal Project Which Presents A Combination Of Bahar’s Philosophical Lyrics And Vahid’s Experimental Sound And Melodic Keyboard-Heavy Numbers.
The Due’s Second Album “Harfe Bi Parde” Was Released In November 2008 And Includes Many Genre And An Experimental Sound. BAHAR Born In Iran/Tehran She Left That Country With Her Parents At A Very Young Age. Despite The Young Age The Persian Language And Lyrics Had Became Her Most Important Companions And Method Of Expression. With Time She Found Her Own Voice In Persian Lyric. Bahar Was Also Very Found Of Music And Singing And Decided To Take Singing And Music Lessons. This Interest Finally Caused That She Met Vahid And Started To Sing For Many Audiences In Scandinavia And Europe. Beside The Role Of One Of The Vocalists In The Duo Vahid And Bahar She Also Assumes The Role Primary Songwriter.
Bahar’s Lyrics In The “Toloo” Album And “Harfe Bi Parde” Album Concentrates On “exile” Love And Unity Presented In Symbolic And Metaphoric Form. The Lyrics Focus On Themes Such As “longing For A Home The Absence Of People And Places That Once Were Meaningful Finding Hope And Starting All Over Again. Bahar Has Chosen To Work With A Form -In Music And Lyric- Which Looks More Deeply And Seriously At Society And People. Vision At A Time When Mainstream Pop Pervades The Iranian Music Scene Vahid And Bahar’s Expression In Music Has Been Difference In Sound And Lyrics. The Duo’s Primary Goal Has Been To Present Their Own Unique And Innovative Sound Which Defies Borders And Boundaries And Speaks To People Of All Races And Nations. read less
