Casey James Basichis is a Los Angeles based music composer, artist, and film maker. Casey composes the music for the Cartoon Network show Adventure time. He worked with series creator, Pendleton Ward and composed music for the original Adventure Time short, which aired on Nickelodeon and was nominated for an Annie Award for best animation short. Ghuman film Spork. His musical inspiration includes Pruned Severly, Stravinsky, Oval, a highschool crush, Autechre, David Bowie, Debussy, Justin Timberlake, and Joanna Newsom. He is known for is unique work in the experimental electro-acoustic genre.
