Enrico Antonio Radesca (Foggia, second half of the 16th century - Turin, 1625) was an Italian composer and organist. From 1597 to 1615 he was organist of the Turin Cathedral , in 1615 he became choir director. He was then a musician at the Savoy Court , first in the service of Don Amedeo, illegitimate son of Carlo Emanuele I , then master of the court chapel . He composed sacred and profane music. From 1605 to 1610 he published four books of Canzonette, madrigals and arias alla romana for two voices, for singing and playing with the chitarrone or spinet : the first volume was published in Milan . The volume of Messe et motetti contains a sonnet dedicated to the author by Domizio Bombarda from Brescia , in which we read this eulogy: "Radesca, you can do well (if you like) To turn high sorrows with song in joy And animate the flints, and these Sheets Make your value your true faith."
