Joni Leppänen (born 4th of June, 1998 in Turku, Finland) is a composer, profucer, and whatever his next song demands him to be, as he prefers to work alone and on his own terms. Although he studies mathematics at the University of Turku, he became interested in music during high school when he taught himself everything from composing to digital music profuction in the span of a few months. Through his high school years he kept making music, but had very few people who were willing to listen and comment on his work thanks to his eccentric taste in music, lyrics that at times seemed like a mix of Nik Kershaw and Bob Dylan, and genre-evasive songs. After showing The Lights Are Lit to a few of his friends, many of them were impressed with his ability and skills as a fast learner, leading him to upload his music online on Youtube and later on other platforms to see if others could be interested. Ultimately, however, like trees fall in the woods, he will keep making music for his own entertainment, whether anyone is around to hear it or not.
