KLSH Klash is a music producer, songwriter, and creative director whose forward-thinking approach to sound design bridges R&B, electronic, and pop music. Splitting his time between Virginia Beach and Los Angeles, Klash developed a distinct sonic identity, characterized by lush synth pads, stuttered drum programming, and deep, hypnotic basslines, drawing inspiration from The Neptunes, Timbaland, J Dilla, Flying Lotus, Quincy Jones, and Roy Ayers. After serving in the U.S. Marines, Klash transitioned to music full-time in 2008, founding Protostar Entertainment and discovering Toronto-born artist Rochelle Jordan. As her longtime executive producer and collaborator, Klash has been instrumental in crafting her critically acclaimed projects ROJO (2011), Pressure (2012), 1021 (2014), and Play With the Changes (2021), helping define her genre-blurring sound and build a loyal international audience. With a career that spans over a decade, Klash continues to push the boundaries of contemporary production, bringing cinematic depth and emotional resonance to every record. His work reflects a commitment to innovation and a deep reverence for the legacy of Black music across eras.
