A 1984 graduate of the Wharton School, P. Miles Bryson is the side project of r&b artist Peabo Bryson. Unable to find support amongst management or the production team at Capitol Records for something more than the sophisticated urban sounds for which he had become famous, Bryson started his own label, taking advantage of his prestigious business degree and drawing ever so playfully off his previous record business success. His influence has been cited by artists ranging from Kylie Minogue ("Crochet Song") to Glen Campbell ("Wichita Revisited") to Gyorgy Ligeti ("Atmospheres") and more distantly to Idi Amin. Recently denounced during the Grammys by Kanye West and formally disowned, disavowed, and disinherited by Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam.. Most recent undisclosed sources have categorically proven it is highly probably that Bryson is no longer a suave, reasonably good-looking black man living somewhere in Atlanta, Georgia but, in fact, an ugly, pastey, extremely unfashionable white guy living in the ghettos of Mesa, Arizona.
