Ranging from early millennial post-hardcore bands such as New Jersey's Brand New and the Welsh group Funeral for a Friend to indie groups Frightened Rabbit and The Antlers. Culminating now in a current fascination with Nu gaze and performers such as M83 and The Naked and Famous. These influences can be heard in some fashion in nearly every track R1AN has produced.
