Formed in Shawnigan Lake, The Accidentz are a Canadian Rock band dedicated to world domination. The band formed out of the fertile musing of Jordan Brokhurst and Cam Jervis, who would later pick up bassist and rockstar supreme Brett Hux, and Tramp-boarding inventor and enthusiast Nic Chu (seriously, you tube “Trampboarding”; his video is the first hit.) They’ve created a sonic sound similar to both The Strokes and Deathcab for Cutie, Coldplay and The Shins, Tokyo Police Club and The Beatles.

Similarly hard hitting and grandiose, songs such as “Andy” and “Full Bloom” give the band a unique but approachable sound. Jordan Brokhurst’s witty vocals of loss and innocence blend overtop Cam’s progressive guitar riffs while Nic Chu and Brett Hux provide a powerful but honest backline, never going too far as to take the spotlight away and ruin the delicate balance of the songs. The Accidentz’s have filled venues such as Lucky Bar, Swan’s Brewpub, and headlined at events at The Roxy, and various West Coast Rock events. These boys are an up and coming force not to be reckoned with.
