Describing themselves as 'Freak Punk' they have taken long strides since the ill-fated and legally crippling days of 'I'm Going To Eat It'. They've stopped the synth-driven political ranting and moved into up-tempo gravelly riffing which has little structural similarity to traditional rock music. The Tony Shockers used to sing in a made-up language claiming it was Estonian, to avoid any further court orders brought about by the demise of their record label. Now, the mantras appear to loosely focus on UFOs and other occult topics but Tony and Traf's lyrics may appear over-simplistic at times. There is no attempt to adapt their music to current alternative fashions and they clearly state they are delivering punk to people 'more punk than we are'. Their plain and powerful 2 or 3 chord riffing with grating and awkward solos saw them picked up by ROSCO Records in Nottingham, UK.
