Šimon Hlinovský is Czech tardcore artist. He has been musically active since 2004 and has since self-released 3 home recordings and one live album. These recordings mostly consist of him singing acapella or with basic musical instruments like the african drum, harmonica, flute and keys. Even though these albums were poorly produced and lacked any musical skill, they were very original, had strange, yet very strong comical side and earned Šimon some local (partly ironical) popularity.

Even though these albums were poorly produced and lacked any musical skill, they were very original, had strange, yet very strong comical side and earned Šimon some local (partly ironical) popularity. Mostly between the fellow students of his school, where he was making little gigs. Since October 2006, Šimon has been working on his new material with other musicians. The cd called Mastná Tyč, with 16 tracks, electric guitar and computer drums, was already done in June 2007, but was not released, as its authors were not content with the quality. It is now being remade with better equipement and computer bass added. Two thirds of it are already done and it should be released for free sometime in 2008.
