There Are Several Bands Named Postcards 1. Postcards Is A Dream Pop Trio Formed In 2012 In Beirut Lebanon. The Band Is Known For Their Signature Sound Mixing Shoegaze/dream Pop Soundscapes With Post-Punk And Noise Evoking The Paradox Of Life In Beirut. Paired With Sabra’s Hushed Velvety Voice And Poignant Lyrics Tackling Feelings Of Alienation Anger And Despair Especially As A Young Woman Postcards’ Songs Speak For A Post-War Generation Trying To Understand Their Place In The World. Postcards Have Released Three EPs And Three Albums And Are Currently Working On Their Fourth. Their Latest Album After The Fire Before The End Out 15/10/2021 Via Berlin-Based T3 Records Was Written Between January 2020 And January 2021 And Co-Produced By Fadi Tabbal The Band’s Longtime Producer. It Is A Record Of The Devastating Year That The Country Witnessed Through The Eyes Of The Band From The Uprising To The Economic Collapse The Pandemic And Devastating August 4 Explosion.
