Born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Truly an L.A. native living in a city chalk full of artists, free-thinkers, and non-conformists. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Truly an L.A. native living in a city chalk full of artists, free-thinkers, and non-conformists. His roots and love for music started from childhood in the 80's listening to the likes of the Smiths, Depeche Mode, the Cure, etc. Slowly progressing to early 90's industrial music scene (Nine Inch Nails, Stabbing Westward, Ministry, and KMFDM). Then early to late 90's grew into his own with influences then expanding to Deftones, Korn, Static-X, Hed (PE), Far, and all the nu-metal that was arising. Then in 2006 when in college after a brief experience with the electronic music scene he was taken over by Drum and Bass extending form the late 90's. While in this stage of musical development he discovered his current love and passion for Dubstep. Mixing on the internet and a couple of local gigs later he was was then accepted into the largest most popular Dubstep only internet radio station, DUBSTEP.FM. Now known as JVIZ (after dropping that long name), he is now one of the founders of a local Electronic Bass Music crew putting together events in the Los Angeles area known as BWOMP! (http://BWOMP.net).
