It brings together the eccentric, humour-tinged atmospherics of Space Rock and Psychedelic Rock bands like Gong and Hawkwind with the Classic Metal and Thrash sounds of the likes of Iron Maiden and Metallica, incorporating elements from Dubstep, Djent and Progressive Metal, and influenced by styles as diverse as Progressive Rock, Reggae, Folk, Alt Pop and even Light Opera and Musicals. Debut album ‘Puce’ is a concept album about someone who is constantly pushing themselves to advance ever further at any cost, while attaining roles that they actually have no idea how to fulfil. It’s about a ‘post turtle’, and unbridled ambition, ego, arrogance, wilful incompetence, and the consequent mental tensions and stresses they endure.
