Portable speakers Jim Morrison Jr was born to James Douglass Morrison and Karen Lee Helenski at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Born Jim Morrison Jr, his mother had him adopted soon after, and he was renamed Paul Francis Perecz Jr after the man she married following his birth. Her husband died a few years later, she immediately remarried and his name was changed to Paul Francis Floyd after she had him adopted by her new husband. Jim Morrison Jr attended and graduated from Upper Merion High School in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. He then joined the United States Navy. Unaware at the time that his grandfather George Stephen Morrison was the United States Navy Admiral. Morrison studied at the Navy A school. After returning home from the Navy Jim Morrison Jr married and had two children, Brandon James Floyd born (3 August 1994) and Trevor Jacob Floyd born (29 July 1995). He soon after divorced. He worked as a carpenter for most of his adult life but knew some day he would pick up where his father left off as a member of The Doors. In 2001, Bullet Head survived an execution-style attempted murder in which he was shot point blank in the left temple with a 38 cal. semi-automatic handgun, in the Bad Lands of Philadelphia.
