Biography of The Suit Corps Initially a lone artist The Suit created tunes to de-stress from the corporate world that he lived in. Corporate bad-ass by day and creative trixter at night to the suit inhabited this juxtaposed / split personality world and he thought he was happy with this. However that all changed when he won a competition to play the Dance Tent at The Big Chill Festival in 2008 that was the catalyst for a 7 peice live band being created. The Suit then played the Big Chill again in 2009! In September 2010 The SUit was BBC Introducing Band of The month for Coventry and Warwickshire, not bad for a dyslexic boy from the Midlands. However as the awareness of The Suit grew people would get confused between The Suit the man and The Suit the band so in January 2011 The Suit live band became TheSuit Corps! This allowed The Suit to still work on his own eclectic beats and create the QtheSuit dance electro project with his Suit Corps Co-producer Q. Already played on local and national UK stations, The Suit Corps are here to bring you something smooth Specialising in cinematic trip hop - The Suit Corps have been described as a cross between the cinematic strings of John Barry and the sample heavy portishead.(click the review in the independent from June 2011 to find out more) As i have already said all of The Suit Corps Tunes are Produced by QTheSuit the dance electro arm of The Suit Corps. In June 2011 The Suit Corps played the BBC introducing Stage at Wychwood . you can read about their set in a review in the Independent HERE Big Strings, Big Guitars, Big Beats = The Suit Corps Make your self comfy because once you hit play you might be here a while!
