Wolfgang "Wolle" Petry (born Franz Hubert Wolfgang Remling, 22 September 1951) is a German schlager musician and songwriter from Cologne, Germany. Additionally, he received the "Platinum Life Award" at the Goldene Stimmgabel ceremonies in 1998 and 2006. In 2017, Petry began a side project called the Pete Wolf Band, which features English-language songs with a country-oriented style. The band released albums in 2017 and 2019, as well as an EP in 2022.
