The album contained material so morbid, that it required the creation of an absolutely new music genre. The name crystallized very quickly due to the extreme nature of miss Hilton's music and it didn't take long to become universally accepted.
Following the commercial success of the first pagan slutcore record, many other artist decided to venture into the world of extreme, ungodly, materialistic music, which the genre encompasses.
