In the late stages of 2003, three people came together, fuelled by their passion for music. Alistair Grist, Dario Lagana and Neil White had just one goal - creating music they loved, and wanted to hear. The boys dubbed themselves Four Seasons Thin, a name that would stick with the band for a whirlwind year and a half. Their 3-track demo produced 70 copies, its songs crafted with three key elements; Passion, Energy and Heart. Perhaps it was the unique yet infectious sound of their music, or perhaps their amazing raw talent, that determined the inevitable success of the band. Either way, the demo sold out in just 3 shows. Since then, the band has come a long way. In late 2006, they returned to the recording studio for the creation of their debut, self-titled EP. New music also inspired a new name change, a name to demonstrate their enthusiasm to push themselves further; and thus, AFTER THE REIGN was born. Following the release of the EP, AFTER THE REIGN have been working hard to further expand their existing fan base on the local circuit, whilst making plans to travel interstate in early 2008. It is AFTER THE REIGN's live show that will undoubtedly draw you in. Their incredible motivation and their love for performing is sure to satisfy. One taste and you’ll be hooked. With the recent addition of Sam Vallen to the lineup, AFTER THE REIGN now seem to have complete focus on where they want to be and where they will stop at nothing to get to. Musicly Sam has brought a complete new element to the band and the music is becoming more challenging, bringing the best out of Dario, Neil and Alistair. 'ECLIPSED' was released in October 2007. The first track that Sam has recorded with the band. 'ECLIPSED' has received a great response and with that in mind, the next release from AFTER THE REIGN is sure to be one to watch out for. As of April 25 Neil will no longer be the bassist of AFTER THE REIGN. This is an incredible lose but the boys are going to soldier on through. The reason stated for his departure was lack of time to play. There was no falling out just a change.
