Aodhan King was born in Sydney's Inner West on 25th of December, 1992. He grew up being very creative, loving art and drama. He got into music when he got to high school, when he was invited to jam with high school friends Tom Kennedy and Elliot Norris. They soon formed Black Ties with close friend Hunter Page-Lochard. The group wrote many songs and performed a few small gigs for friends in their 3 years together. When Black Ties broke up due to creative differences, King set out penning some of his own songs, mostly in the genre of pop-rock. Now mostly acoustic based, King still has an affinity for pop music and he strives to create songs with lush melodies and atmospheric accompaniment whilst still mainting the pop sensibilties he loves.
