Five Day Forecast was a band from New Hampshire that was around from 2007-2013, led by singer and guitarist Ty Ueda, now of School Shoes. The band began as a duo of Ueda and middle-school friend David Jin, who collaborated to produce their first full length debut album, titled "Which Is Missing, The Puzzle Or The Piece?" released on August 13th 2009. With the departure of Jin, Ty worked solo as Five Day Forecast for a time, his style moving to folk-inspired acoustic songwriting. He released an EP, "Dear _____," before being joined by Lina Tullgren and a rotating retinue of others to create his masterpiece, the spacious, genre-defying album, Sincerely, _______. Five Day Forecast dissolved in 2013 as members moved and pursued other things. Ty now produces music with School Shoes and as Whey Face.
