Phil Hendrie is a radio talkshow host who is a cult phenomenon with a huge, underground (and not so underground) following. He is best known for his Phil Hendrie Show that aired in syndication around the country. The Phil Hendrie Show featured discussion between Phil and some kind of insanely-wild guest, with callers able to call in to speak their minds. Some of his most famous guests include PASTOR RENNICK, a fiery Southern Baptist Preacher who constantly turns every issue into a Race issue and is prone to scream out his lectures; BOBBIE DOOLEY, an upscale White lady who is proud of her perfect family and her life as it exists within the gated community of Western Estates, even though she is exhausted with such obligations as helping panicked White people adjust to the Census Bureau announcement that the United States will be at least 50% non-English speaking within a short time; CLARA BINGHAM, an embittered school teacher who is more than willing to use any method she feels supported by the bible as a means to discipline children (such as nail-gunning them to the bed, because "if it was good enough for Jesus, it's good enough for them"); and MANY more crazy kooks being interviewed. Callers call in completely outraged and get engaged in the most hilarious arguments ever heard. The CATCH: Phil Hendrie is actually vocally CREATING the "guests" with whom he is interviewing. He does this LIVE and improvised by switching from Mic to Phone handset, "interviewing" his crazy guest, but the callers who call in HAVE NO CLUE THAT IT IS ALL FAKED! Phil Hendrie does this show as a form of satire and is an excellent commentary on the pulse of some of the most absurd mindsets that all of us have seen in our world. Phil Hendrie retired from this radio show in July of 2006, but he continues to be known for television and cartoon voice work. Official Site Phil Hendrie News
