Ping Pong Poëzie makes music with the purpose to let the poetry speak straight from their hearts. Ping Pong Poëzie explores the borders between reggae, folk, chanson, carnaval and way more different genres. In the absence of a better term Ping Pong Poëzie prefers to call themselves a "Foelsbent". Ping Pong Poëzie combines the best and most fascinating elements from all the different genres. They reproduce the sounds of their musical heroes and while doing (and failing) so; their own sounds is created. With a fleck of sarcasm and crocodile tears they tell their stories; what they've been through, what touches and inspires them. Ping Pong Poëzie are seven friends who've met each other in the caverns of Tilburg. The music was always there. Firstly in their living rooms from their parents and at campfire sessions, and now everywhere; in a garbage container or on the toilet, in a wood workshop or at expositions, nothing's to crazy for Ping Pong Poëzie. After the summer of 2016 their first LP was released, and now their song "Ik wil met die dikke naar bed" is becoming a Tilburg Culthit they are ready to conquer the "Low Lands".
